Rebecca Misencik

Rebecca Misencik brings fifteen years of agility experience to Pinnacle Dog Sports. She grew-up in a household that had every pet imaginable at one time or another – dogs, cats, hamsters, mice, fish, hermit crabs, and newts. Rebecca’s first experience with agility was partnering with her dad to train their family’s border collie Max. After that experience, when Rebecca was established on her own as an adult, she trained her papillon Wallace in agility. Wallace was the first and only dog from his breeding kennel to achieve the Master Agility Champion (MACH) title. Rebecca trains and competes with both Wallace and border collie Albert.

Rebecca furthers her agility education as a student in the Master level classes at Pinnacle Dog Sports. She also participates in seminars and online courses and is an avid reader on the topics of dog behavior and holistic health.

When not playing agility, Rebecca works full time as an underwriting manager for the insurance company Travelers. She is a proud graduate of John Carroll University and still volunteers her time with the University’s alumni athletic association, the Blue-Gold Club. She resides in North Ridgeville, OH.
